Talulah loving...

Wearing the Talulah Tomorrow's Bliss Dress

So excited to show the first photos from my shoot for Coco & Amy Boutique!

This Talulah dress is simply divine... It melts to your body showing curves in all the right places and the ruffle detail on the hip  has been flattering on every woman that I have seen wearing this dress. I am LOVING this pattern, a pattern that Talulah has recreated in many pieces this season. I can see this dress in a cocktail bar, out on a night dancing or in an office. The timeless design and colour pallet  would be a sound fashion investment for any wardrobe.

OH my goodness who is cooking? That smells so yummy!

Top- Talulah Sounds of Time Tee
Bottom- Kuku Floral Paradise Dress

Sorry that I have been M.I.A the last 2 weeks or so... I have been buried under a large pile of textbooks, assignments and stress. All of that hectic uni stuff has passed for a little while now and I have time to share with you some exciting news!

I will be collaborating with the lovely ladies from Coco & Amy Boutique!

YAY

This past weekend I undertook a large task. I am no model, nor have I ever done anything that could even be remotely referred to as modeling, but the girls from Coco & Amy believed I could do it so I gave it a shot.

I spent a lovely afternoon at Sanctuary Cove with my talented photographer and a beautiful wardrobe. I also dragged my ever supportive boy along for emotional support... for example when I was mid shoot and shouted loudly "OH my goodness who is cooking? That smells so yummy!" only to realise that that a 'real' model wouldn't do that HAHA. I guess I'll never be Cara... oh well!

I am so excited to get the photos back, but in the mean time here is a little sneak peek into the collaboration between Coco & Amy Boutique and Sugar Style Blogger.

Cabaret De Paris

Last night was the opening night gala of Jupiters Casino's new show, Cabaret De Paris. Ever since receiving my invitation from the producers of the show I had been so excited, and spent many a night watching movies like Moulin Rouge and Burlesque, but nothing could have prepared me for last night.

With seasoned Moulin Rouge performer Marissa Burgess, and over $250,000 worth of costumes I embarked on a beautiful journey through Paris. The old Parisian cabaret songs met with new world music and dances and had the entire audience entranced. The raunchy yet classy burlesque features of the night were so tasteful and beautiful and really transported you to another time... another place.

The costumes, however, were on a whole other level. When worn ( yes thats right, you do see the occasional butt straight out of a fitness magazine, or the occasional breast), The costumes were simply breathtaking, and the detail exquisite. The costumes alone made the show worthwhile, but when you factor in the songs and dances, the circus acts, the illusionists and the performers it is a must.

Knowing full well that I was about to be surrounded my beautiful, voluptuous cabaret dancers I had quite a task deciding what to wear. So I must thank Witchery for my beautiful panel detail pencil skirt, and ASOS for this lovely lace peplum top. My shoes are by Tony Bianco.

Overall it was a wonderful night and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
